Aposto que muitos adolescentes de hoje foram concebidos ao som dos melosos temas da banda sonora do filme Notting Hill. Esta comédia romântica foi um sucesso planetário e por arrasto a sua banda sonora. Mas sabe bem ouvi-la hoje, pelo menos por alguns dos seus temas. Há alguns clássicos ou versões de clássicos e alguns temas originais feitos para este filme. De longe, o melhor é Born to Cry dos Pulp. Excelente como tudo o que conheço do grupo. Outro grande tema gravado para o filme é She (Charles Aznavour, 1974), cantado por Elvis Costello. Os outros temas de que gosto muito são How Can You Mend a Broken Heart (Bee Gees) por Al Green (1972), e Ain't No Sunshine (1971) pelos Lighthouse Family. 3,5/5
